Founder and Chairman, The Mary Foundation

H.R.H Crown Princess Mary established the Mary Foundation in 2007 with the mission to prevent and alleviate social isolation through the development and management of innovative projects using unique social partnerships as a platform. As Chairman of the Board of the Mary Foundation, the Crown Princess is deeply involved in social development, health issues and humanitarian aid on a national and international level. She is also patron of a number of other organizations, including the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe, UNFPA, Danish Refugee Council, Danish Heart Association and the Danish Mental Health Fund. Crown Princess Mary graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Law. Before moving to Denmark, she worked in advertising and communications.
