Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Centene Corporation, a healthcare company based in St. Louis, Missouri. Dedicated to creating and directing the deployment of multinational medical services, all while upholding Centene’s local approach to healthcare. Long track record of successfully executing strategies for Medicaid, Medicare and commercially managed care. Centene has evolved from a $40 million company to a FORTUNE 50 healthcare establishment. Member: Board, Trinity University’s Trustees; Board of Directors of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). Trustee, St. Louis’s Symphony Orchestra. Co-created, with wife, the Neidorff Family and Robert C. Packman Professorship for the Washington University School of Medicine. January 2020, co-recipient, Whitney M. Young Humanitarian Award from the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and Saint Louis University. Graduated from Trinity University in 1965 and earned a Master of Arts degree in 1966 from St. Francis College.
