Under his stewardship, the company has emerged as a leading player in the steel, power, mining and infrastructure sectors, and forayed into the oil & gas sector, with operations in Africa, Botswana, Oman, Australia, Indonesia and Georgia. Jindal is also Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University and has been elected twice as a Member of the Indian Parliament.
