Peter L. Corsell is an entrepreneur known for building successful technology companies that address long-standing social challenges. He is currently Chairman of the Board of GridPoint, which he founded in 2003 and led as Chief Executive Officer until 2010. An established cleantech leader and a pioneer in the Internet of Things, GridPoint enables businesses, utilities and government agencies to maximize energy savings, operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. The company has deployed more than 450,000 connected devices, has saved its customers more than 2.4 billion kilowatts of energy and has reduced carbon emissions by approximately one million metric tonnes. MIT's Technology Review recognized Corsell as one of the world's top innovators under age 35 and he is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Earlier in his career, he served with the US Department of State in Havana, Cuba, and as a political analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency. Corsell holds a BSFS degree from Georgetown University.
