Uzoma Dozie seeks to revolutionize banking in Nigeria through his passionate advocacy for entrepreneurship and technology as a key driver of financial inclusion and sustainable economic reform. .
Currently the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Bank Plc, Nigeria's fastest growing retail bank, his vision is to create innovative financial solutions by providing customer experiences that go #BeyondBanking. He joined the Bank in 1998 and has worked in various functions including financial control, business development, commercial, corporate and retail banking.

Uzoma graduated from the University of Reading with a Bsc in Chemistry in 1991 an MSc in Chemical Research from the University College London in 1992 and finally an MBA from Imperial College, London in 1998

Uzoma is regarded as a leading advocate for a digitally-driven economy and he often features on panels to discuss ways of shaping the future of Nigeria leveraging technological innovations. He founded TechFest in 2018 as a platform to bring together key stakeholders in Nigeria’s technology space and occasionally hosts Tech Turks where he holds conversations with techpreneurs disrupting the nation’s economy. He is a member adviser to the World Economic Forum and seats on the Boards of Women’s World Banking and FMDQ OTC.

When he’s not at work, helping small businesses or discussing technology, Uzoma can be found playing lawn tennis, golf or in the gym. He is also an avid art collector and a keen photographer.
