Vino El Khatib is an adept marketer with extensive knowledge of the regional retail community. She was appointed Head of Corporate Marketing and Brand at Majid Al Futtaim Holding in 2015. She is responsiblefor Majid Al Futtaim’s brand strategy formulation and execution, in addition to working with the company’s subsidiaries and business units to align their communications with the brand objectives. She previously served as Senior Director -Marketing of Shopping Malls at Majid Al Futtaim Prosperities since November 2011, where she was responsible for leading the marketing, mall promotions and media functions of Majid Al Futtaim’s entire shopping mall portfolio across the region to drive footfall, sales and advertising revenue growth. During that time, Ms. El Khatib provided leadership and guidance to deliver a clear marketing strategy to achieve those goals, yielding measurable results for the company’s stakeholders. This includes the establish ment of the City Centre shopping mall brand and the launch of Majid Al Futtaim’s neighbourhood centres brand, “My City Centre”. As an active member of the Branding Committee, she also played an instrumental role in the implementation and success of the company’s corporate rebrand initiative of which she is now in charge of. Prior to Majid Al Futtaim, Ms. El Khatib, worked with Al Tayer Group for over 21 years, growing with the company to eventually head their marketing and communications activities as Chief Marketing Officer. She played an instrumental role in driving their expansion strategy, bringing in high-end brands such as Gucci and Giorgio Armani. Ms. El Khatib holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from The American University of Paris, France.
