WHO COVID-19 Digital Innovation Challenge

The WHO & WEF co-hosted COVID-19 Digital Innovation Challenge will launch a series of dynamic online platforms for member state health and other authorities and global innovators to access and share digital tools, ideas and best practices in COVID-19 technology-based solutions that asssit in the detection, prevention, response and recovery from COVID. It is not a consumer/patient-facing tool, but rather focused on matching the efforts of innovators with the appropriate audiences of governments and UN Agencies in order to solve the multi-faceted challenges posed by COVID-19.

As such, it will provide a forum of digital ideas and solutions which have passed basic preliminary screening by WEF and WHO and /or a tech experts. It will also provide a separate platform for countries to consult with each other, and other partners at different stages of the response. Over time, it will facilitate the recommendation and selection of available relevant digital tools during the COVID-19 response.
