Davos Alzheimer's Collaborative (DAC)

The Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative (DAC) is a first-of-its-kind global effort to accelerate the discovery, testing and delivery of precision interventions for Alzheimer’s.

Through public-private partnerships, the DAC will help governments manage their response to this disease and reduce the burden for families worldwide through the following three approaches:

  • Global Cohort Development: driving scientific discovery by building cohorts and collecting measurements relevant to Alzheimer’s in low-, middle- and high-income countries

  • Global Clinical Trials: reducing the cost and time to bring new treatments to market nationally, regionally and globally

  • Healthcare System Preparedness: facilitating the implementation of global commitments to provide access to future innovations in treatment, diagnosis and care

DAC was conceived at a multilateral meeting in Davos at the 2020 Annual Meeting.
