The Transformation Leaders Network
Transformation Leaders Network re-launch partners are working to redesign this community of purpose to both support the objectives of 2021 Food Systems Summit and a dynamic network of systems leaders in support of food transformation. Specific goals include:
- Promote systems leadership and networks of collective action
- Enhance scaling-up positive impact of game-changer initiatives in countries and regions
- Create a dynamic nexus of networks to self-organize, foster dialogue and harness collective systems change globally
A Community of purpose supporting the 2021 Food Summit
The relaunch of the next generation of the Transformation Leaders Network will include three key objectives that can support the UN Food Systems Summit and continue to be a self-sustaining network of systems influence for the transformation of how we produce and consumer food beyond 2021. The three key objectives include:
Promoting systems leadership
Support systems leaders from within the food community and relevant sectors like finance, climate, health, and others to unlock their networks and become positive, visionary and action orientated agents of change, and together advance their collective impact.
Scaling impact of gamechanger initiatives
Build a network of dedicated systems leaders to support the acceleration of gamechanger initiatives at country, regional and global levels in support of summit outcomes and food systems transformation in long-term.
Unlocking Systems of Influence
Create and enable a nexus of systems leader networks to identify, catalyse and scale action a next generation of initiatives with pre-competitive multistakeholder market-led approaches and stay globally connected to exchange lessons, peer-to-peer support, and deepen their systems influence.
Developing self-promoting local models and networks
Empower systems leaders to develop a self-promoting local hub model and networks to foster dialogue and harness the power of collective action through use of innovative and interactive tools (digital platforms like Uplink, and others).
The Transformation Leaders Network would aim to convene individual and institutional leaders including representatives of networks from agri-food and other industries, government and multilateral agencies, civil society, farmer organizations, consumer advocates and communities, innovators and entrepreneurs, youth leaders, academia and systems thinkers from around the world.
