Preparing for the Future of Work in Advanced Manufacturing

As part of the cross-industry Preparing for the Future of Work initiative, the Advanced Manufacturing Industry Taskforce is high-Level community of Chief Human Resource Officers, policy makers, experts, Technology Pioneers and Global Innovators convened to:

  • Identify and monitor future skills needs in manufacturing

  • Transform manufacturing to make it exciting for younger generations

  • Deep dive on how specific technologies can augment and empower the manufacturing workforce

  • Launch cross-company collaborations to upskill the manufacturing workforce

  • Reskill and plan job transition pathways for workers at risk


  • Collaborate with experts within and across industries to exchange best practices and identify innovative and scalable solutions

  • Proactively manage the transition to the future of work, transforming the learning ecosystem in manufacturing

  • Be part of a global reskilling and upskilling movement to ensure that gains and opportunities are shared fairly and benefit everyone
