This impact report highlights how First Movers Coalition (FMC) members are delivering on their net-zero commitments within a complex global market. It showcases the successful approaches, emerging trends and concrete solutions that demonstrate how coordinated corporate demand can help shape a net-zero economy.

Achieving net zero by 2050 will require the rapid creation of early markets to decarbonize hard-to-abate industries. The private sector has a critical role to play in sending credible demand signals that can unlock investment, accelerate innovation and catalyse supply at scale.

The FMC supports the world’s most significant private-sector demand signal for industrial decarbonization. Through collective commitments across seven high-emitting sectors, FMC members are helping to turn ambition into action by backing near-zero technologies and products before they reach full commercial maturity.
