In the latest white paper of the Jobs of Tomorrow series, the World Economic Forum, in collaboration with Accenture, presents an examination of the potential impact of large language models (LLMs) on jobs. The integration of LLMs in various industries presents a paradigm shift in how we interact with information and, by extension, how we work.

This shift could lead to significant productivity gains and the creation of new types of jobs, but there is also a risk of potential job displacements and exacerbating socioeconomic disparities. This white paper takes a structured approach to understanding the direct impact of LLMs on specific jobs likely to play out in the future.

As a part of the Jobs of Tomorrow series, this white paper will enable businesses, policy-makers and the public to carry out proactive and structured planning to seize opportunities while making more informed decisions regarding skilling, workforce planning and other strategic investments.
