Workforce Health Across the Value Chain: Organizational Insights to Mitigate Risk and Create Sustainable Growth highlights how investing in labour health and climate adaptation across an organization’s value chain can advance both business and public health outcomes.
Drawing on nearly 60 interviews with leaders, the report shows that the resilience strategies relating to worker health are inadequate. It calls for a shift in corporate strategy and risk assessment, embedding health alongside environmental and financial metrics. While momentum has been building, there is a need to progress from innovative pilots to coordinated, scaled investments, which will be possible only through joint and collaborative leadership across companies, industries, governments and civil society.
