Adam Skali

Adam holds a Master’s in Multidisciplinary Research, biophysics, and a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology, with extensive studies in bioinformatics and data science, and experience in healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship. Fluent in 7 languages, with 4 at native level. Adam started his career in biophysics, and later founded his first startup MidasTimes to help improve mental health of students, and later joined Luci Health where he achieved the position of COO.

Adam is a board member of the Institute for Human Centered Health Innovation and Director of Innovation at the e-Health Innovation Center. He also serves as President of Innovation Forum Barcelona and works as a consultant, associated expert, and advisor to local and international public and private healthcare organizations, including EIT Health, Fundación Visible, the Digital Mental Health Consortium, the Scott Morgan Foundation, Danish Life Science Cluster, and Myhealth@Myhands.

He has coordinated and contributed to more than 50 international consortia involving over 500 partners worldwide, with the potential to mobilize more than EUR 600 million. His work has focused on digital health, health and care innovation, interoperability, AI in health, and regulatory science. This includes recent collaboration with national regulatory sandboxes in Portugal and the United Kingdom to explore how AI innovation can be tested and governed while ensuring safety, accountability, and alignment with patient needs and perspectives, as well as contributions to the development of Morocco’s strategy on interoperability and AI in health. Adam is also a member of the Youth Advisory Group of the Joint Action PreventNCD and part of the Secretariat of the Global Shapers Longevity Economy Task Force of the World Economic Forum, and a hub leader of the Young AI Leaders Madrid Hub initiative of AI for Good.

Recognized for leadership in healthcare innovation and global health discussions, his work has received more than 15 million impressions. During his career he has recieved training from some of the best institutions companies, universities, and accelerators/incubators, such as KTH, Johnson & Johnson, CIMTI, Health Inc, Innovation Forum, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Ghent University, Pompeu Fabra University, University of Barcelona and Banco Santander.
