Arezo is an Investment Officer at the World Bank Group. During her external assignment from the WBG, she founded the Private Sector Humanitarian Alliance (PSHA) and co-founded both the Afghan Future Fund and Ventures Beyond Borders as a Fellow at Schmidt Futures. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at New York University (NYU) and as an Advisor to the Office of Eric Schmidt. Arezo holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as a Raisina Fellow with the Observer Research Foundation.
