Bruno Komurubuga

Vice-Curator, Kampala Hub

Bruno Komurubuga is a systems-driven innovation strategist and industrial designer building the sovereign digital infrastructure required for Africa’s next economic frontier. Blending a fine-art instinct with edge-computing architecture, Bruno transforms bold concepts into resilient, multi-market solutions that safeguard revenue and empower the region's youthful workforce.

As the Founder of QueBuster, he has pioneered a Sovereign Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) model for the African MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. By integrating industrial design with proprietary offline-first protocols, he is creating the 'digital rail' necessary for flagship venues to operate with 100% uptime, ensuring economic sovereignty in the face of infrastructure fragility.

In his capacity as Vice Curator of the Global Shapers Kampala Hub, Bruno champions regional integration and workforce readiness. In 2025, he architected the FutureReady Cross-Hub Pilot, a high-impact initiative that synchronized four hubs (Kampala, Kigali, Dar-es-Salaam, and Iringa). The program successfully equipped 43 Gen-Z learners with future-essential soft skills, guided by 15+ industry ambassadors across three countries, proving a scalable blueprint for regional talent development.

Bruno’s work sits at the intersection of grassroots energy and global ambition. Whether designing impact-resistant hardware for 5-star event venues or leading interdisciplinary leadership teams, his mission remains constant: to design with empathy, scale with strategy and lead with a story.
