This Company Is Building A Passenger Electric Airplane

Aviation produces 2.5% of global CO2 emissions, and short and medium-haul flights account for 67% of these emissions. The Wright 1, a zero-emissions passenger electric airplane, is a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer 2021. The Wright 1 will fly distances of up to 800 miles with no negative impact on the environment. It will seat 100-180 people and will be 20% quieter than a standard plane. The Wright Electric airplane is targeted to enter service in 2030.
