Quantum computing may sound like science fiction, but it’s set to reshape the future of finance. Overall, #quantumcomputing in the financial sector could generate up to $622 billion in value by 2035. These opportunities - and the concurrent risks - are explored in a new World Economic Forum white paper, in collaboration with Accenture.   The paper assesses the current state of #quantum applications in financial services and outlines six pillars that should be prioritized by policy-makers, industry leaders and academics.
