This union leader cut the deal to protect entertainers from AI

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) has more than 160,000 members. They include actors, TV hosts, journalists, singers and voiceover artists. In 2023, the union’s members went on strike for almost 4 months, in part to demand better protections from the potential consequences of AI on their work.
