There’s no need for a special app. They don’t need to visit the bank in person and they don’t even need to be connected to the internet. Once they’ve created their account, they can use the code to check their balance, send money, get a statement and pay their bills. The Asaan Mobile Account (AMA) is part of Pakistan’s National Financial Inclusion Strategy which aims to enable swift and easy banking to low-income Pakistanis.
