This autonomous bot is learning to pick up trash

It collects rubbish from the street, using AI to distinguish between refuse and recyclables. It can even empty trash cans by itself. The CityBot is an emissions-free, multi-functional robot vehicle prototype. It was created by German engineering firm EDAG which says it can attach to different modules, turning it from a shuttle bus for people into a lawn-mower or street cleaner. EDAG says the bots could link up in a smart ecosystem in a digitized future city.
