Building Strategic Intelligence Series 2021 - Circular Economy in Transformation - English

Nearly half of all global emissions come from how we make and use things. To tackle climate goals, we need to take a fresh look at how we approach our goods and services. The circular economy approach towards redesigning, producing and using goods looks to eliminate waste, circulate materials, and regenerate nature. In the circular economy, waste is eliminated, products and materials are kept in use throughout their product lifecycle and natural systems are regenerated. This session explores how systems designed with a focus on reuse, repair, refurbishment and (when a product can no longer be of use) recycling can be scaled by new business models and taken to scale to achieve our climate goals and regenerate nature.
