Companies are paying hackers to attack their own IT systems

Instead of waiting for criminals to find a way into their computer systems many organizations now employ ‘ethical hackers’ to get there first. ‘White hat hackers’ test and improve organizations’ cybersecurity using the same tools as malicious – or ‘black hat’ – hackers. 83% of organizations experienced a data breach last year. Just like breaking into a building, hackers look for weak spots.
