Join photographer Platon, in conversation with Filippo Grandi, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, to discuss the power of film and photography to represent the many faces and voices of those forced to flee. The session will debut excerpts from a Portrait of Stranger, a multimedia collaboration between Platon and UNHCR. This collective portrait of human fragility and fortitude illustrates how the human spirit shares universal truths – the desire to be free, to be safe, to be respected, to belong.
