This Caribbean island aims to become the world's first climate-resilient nation

Dominica is one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable countries. A single storm can devastate the whole island, which is what happened in 2018 when Dominica was hit by Hurricane Maria. It caused $1.3 billion of damage, more than twice Dominica’s GDP.
