This eco-friendly toilet can be installed anywhere

It doesn’t need sewage infrastructure or a septic tank which means it can be used in areas without proper sanitation such as parts of rural India. The toilet was developed by Indian firm Banka Bio. It uses a biodigester to break down 90% of human waste. It produces a supply of odourless, nutrient-rich water suitable for gardening and small amounts of biogas that can be used for cooking or heating.
