This university course aims to answer that question. It’s called the Psychology of Pseudoscience and it’s being taught to students at State University of New York Cortland. Pseudoscience can be defined as beliefs that seem scientific in nature but which have no basis in actual science. The course covers everything from ghosts and creationism, to denial of climate change.
