Just 1 in 3 people worldwide are financially literate

This means having the knowledge and skills needed to make financial decisions. It's linked to how comfortable you are in later life. 35% of men worldwide are financially literate, compared with 30% of women. This gap exists in both developed and developing economies and it magnifies other challenges already faced by women.
