The way countries cooperate is changing.

Geopolitical tensions may be weakening the multilateral order, but smaller groups of countries with shared interests are finding ways to work together - especially when it comes to trade. Meanwhile, cross-border #cooperation on technology is also expanding, and countries are finding new ways to work together on climate action.

But one area stands out for the wrong reasons: peace and security. Cooperation here has declined sharply, as #conflicts persist and forced displacement reaches record levels.

The World Economic Forum has just published its annual Global Cooperation Barometer - and here discussing the findings are CEO and President Børge Brende, Managing Director Bathsheba Crocker, and Bob Sternfels, Global Managing Partner at McKinsey.
