Humanity could consume 60% more resources by 2060, says the UN

These resources include crops for food, fossil fuels, metals such as iron, lithium and copper and land and water. Resource use has tripled over the past 50 years, says the UN’s International Resource Panel (IRP) and it continues to grow by 2.3% a year. Driving a ‘triple planetary crisis’ of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution.
