Scientists say we've crossed 6 of 9 planetary boundaries for liveability on Earth

In 2009, a group of scientists defined 9 planetary boundaries. These are the processes that regulate and stabilize our biosphere. They include climate change, freshwater, biodiversity and ocean acidification. In a new study, scientists have found that 6 of the 9 boundaries have been breached. In 2015, just one had been crossed.
