Men around the world say they want to do more care work, a new survey finds

The vast majority of unpaid care work is done by women. In the Global South, women do 3-7 times more unpaid care work than men. In the Global North, women do 1.2-2 times more. But while men say they want to increase their share of this workload, several barriers hamper them in doing s. Including a lack of supportive policies, poverty and ingrained social norms.
