A women’s rugby team is tracking the impact of the menstrual cycle on concussions

The Wales Women’s Rugby Team is using new tech to help players better manage their treatment and recovery. Players log symptoms such as headaches, nausea or fatigue on an app. These symptoms can be the result of a concussion or they might be associated with the later stages of the menstrual cycle. The app helps players and medical staff differentiate between the two, ensuring players receive the correct treatment
