Microplastics have been found in the clouds above Mount Fuji
Scientists sampled the mist above 2 Japanese mountains, Mount Fuji and Mount Ōyama. The cloud water contained up to 14 pieces of plastic per litre, including 9 different types of plastic and one type of rubber. Some of the plastics even attract water which could seed clouds and disrupt the climate.
