Nancy Brown is head of the American Heart Association. She says that, although heart disease is the leading cause of death for women, women are often under-represented in clinical trials.
"Women deserve more than they're getting. I think that we recognize that sex differences between men and women really matter in terms of health outcomes. And therefore, backing up to scientific study is critically important."
