How NASA's Aerobot Could Help Us Explore Venus
NASA wants to use this aerobot (a robot balloon) to study Venus from its skies. The surface of Venus is hostile and unforgiving as it is hot enough to melt lead and blanketed in a mixture of corrosive gases. With pressures high enough to crush a submarine, only four landers have ever returned images from the Venusian surface. But the atmosphere high above the surface is much less severe. So NASA hopes its aerobot could carry out a range of experiments. Watch to know more.
