New York is fitting heat pumps in apartments

Heat pumps can be installed in just 15 minutes. They fit onto window ledges and they plug straight into the mains. Heat pumps are hailed as the next frontier in warming indoor space. They capture thermal energy from the air outside and use it to warm rooms, like air-conditioners in reverse.
