Portugal Wants to Ban Smoking Outdoors

Hoping to create a smoke-free generation by 2040. A new law will stop smokers lighting up outside public buildings Such as hospitals, universities, schools and sports arenas. Smoking will also be banned outside bars, restaurants and cafes. If passed, the law will come into effect in October this year.
