This tiny robot is performing remote-controlled surgery in space

MIRA weighs around 1kg and arrived on the International Space Station on 1 February. It’s conducting simulated procedures, controlled by a surgeon in the US. The process could help doctors prepare for long-distance space travel by getting them used to performing surgery in zero gravity and via remote control.
