This sailing race is helping to save the ocean

The Ocean Race takes competitors 60,000km around the world. This year, teams captured valuable ocean data while they raced. Collectively, the boats took 4 million measurements in 15 data categories. They left 14 autonomous buoys drifting in the ocean to track ocean health and used eDNA sampling to monitor biodiversity.
