Scientists have created a digital model of every tree in New York City

The 3D model was developed by researchers at Cornell University. It contains detailed information on each of New York’s 660,000 trees, such as their species, size and health. As well as the shade they provide at different times of day and year. And how this is affected by nearby streets and buildings.
