CleanHub can track and trace plastic waste, helping to keep it out of the ocean. Plastic collectors register a pickup by scanning a QR code then snap and upload a photo of the waste. CleanHub’s technology uses machine-learning models to gauge the volume and density of waste in each bag. At a sorting plant, workers divide the plastic waste into recyclables and non-recyclables.
