The Paris Olympics could face 3.6 billion cyberattacks, say experts

The Olympics begin on 26 July 2024 and are set to bring over 11 million visitors to Paris. Generating €11 billion in economic activity in Île-de-France. However, France’s cybersecurity agency, ANSSI, has warned of an ‘unprecedented level of threat’. To deal with the threats, ANSSI - and official partners Cisco and Eviden - have also stepped up their defences by developing secure networks and boosting cyber monitoring using AI.
