The US Has Created 100,000 Clean Energy Jobs in 6 Months

Since the summer of 2022, 90 new clean energy projects have opened across the country, representing $90 billion in green investment. Projects include 40 new battery manufacturing sites. 22 new or extended electric vehicle manufacturing plants and 24 wind and solar power expansions. In August 2022, President Biden passed the Inflation Reduction Act. It’s the biggest climate bill ever passed by Congress and provides $369 billion for projects that reduce US emissions, expand clean energy and advance environmental justice.
