These 10 Innovators Are Protecting the World’s Freshwater

These 10 innovators are protecting the world’s freshwater by restoring water quality, building climate change resilience, and improving data-driven decision-making. One innovator has created an automated bacterial biosensor that monitors water quality in real-time, while another has developed portable water filters that work without electricity. These solutions are all winners of the UpLink and HCL Global Freshwater Challenge. All 10 will receive CHF 175,000 ($189,000) in co-financing from HCL. They will also join UpLink’s Innovation Network and a tailored programme offering connections to experts and investors who can help them grow. Watch to learn more about all 10 innovators.
