These 4 Parliaments Have More Women Than Men

Globally, around 26% of lawmakers are women. None of the G7 countries are in the top 30 for representation. France is the top G7 performer in 36th place. The US comes joint 73rd with Lithuania. Globally, the number of women in ministerial positions rose to 16.1% between 2006 and 2022. At the current rate it will take 132 years for the global gender gap to close.
