These Nigerian Parents Pay Their School Bills With Recyclables

A new scheme is helping kids to stay in school while cleaning up the local neighbourhood. My Dream Stead school is in an impoverished area of Lagos. It costs $130 a year to attend but instead of money, parents can bring in bags of recyclable trash . The bags are weighed and their value is deducted from the school fees.
