Benjamin Von Wong is a Canadian artist and activist. He uses huge public art installations to get people talking about environmental issues, including plastic waste. Von Wong calls himself a ‘translator between statistics and emotion’. He says the problems facing the planet aren’t always easy to visualize, such as the environmental impact of electronic waste or the scourge of microfibre pollution from our laundry.
