This Is Why Drawing Is So Good for Kids

Studies show that drawing also helps kids to learn. In one experiment, children were taught a scientific idea. Those who used sketches to visualise it absorbed it better than those who explained it through words. Drawing may also help children’s memory. In trials, kids recall more information about an event in the past when asked to draw it. Drawing also helps build kids’ imagination and creativity, express their feelings, recall and depict happy memories like a birthday party and even explore emotional difficulties through art therapy.
