This tiny robot travels through the lungs to check for cancer

The Ion bronchoscopy robot is thinner than standard bronchoscopes. It lets doctors reach abnormalities, or ‘nodules’ and biopsy them from inside the lungs which reduces the risk of lung collapse, compared with ‘needle’ biopsies from outside.
